Sales Meeting
Patricia Wolpert, General Manager (New England), IBM
Patricia hosted IBM's regional sales meeting with 1,500 attendees.
It was a pleasure to help her prepare for a program that included
delivering prepared remarks, interviewing guests, weaving in media
and a live performance, as well as moderating a 3 hour 'town meeting'
with IBM executives.

A True Prognostication
Tom Jeffrey, VP of Commercial Printing, S.D. Warren
Tom always wanted to raise the bar for showmanship with every presentation. Here, he takes on the character of the famous printer, Benjamin Franklin, to share his enthusiasm for the internet (or was it a warning to printers?).

Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Banquet
Bob Temkin, Sr. Partner Ernst & Young, LLC and Kasey Kaufman, Broadcast Journalist, WBZ-TV
The regional Entrepreneur of the Year Awards identifies New England business leaders who are role models for innovation, invention, creating jobs, building community, and for finding new ways to grow and build a company. It wasn't my idea to introduce each one of the 40-50 finalists, but it worked.
"I'm a sixth-generation Texan."
Ivan Boyd, VP Sales/Marketing, Sunquest Clinical Information Systems
Some of the customers had been attending this User's Group meeting for 20 years. Ivan had just joined the company and wanted his speech to position him well for earning the trust, respect, and affection of the 1,500 attendees. It did.

Basix Sales Training Audiotape Script
F. W. Dodge
This sales training audiotape was produced to resemble a radio show and included soundbites from interviews with customers in the construction industry. In addition to writing the narration, I conducted the interviews, chose and ordered the excerpts.

Event Management
SAPPI Merchants Association Annual Meeting
This manufacturing channels distribution event once again, proves, that the buzz in the halls and on the golf course contributes as much to the ease of doing business as the formal presentations. Beginning in 1985, I've contributed to the planning, theme development, production, speaker management, and writing tasks associated with this event.
